Quaran Time Video Art and New Generation

Curated by Annamaria Orsini with critical contributions by Luca Caldironi e Roberta Semeraro.

Everything arises from desire: desire to "situate" oneself in Venice, in these un-certain times, holding high, through art, the utopia of desire. Desire for creativity and creation; desire for “r-existence”. To coagulate a confluence of "amorous senses" giving life to an exhibition, long conceived, that already contains in its title an omen of a possible re-generation: QVA QuantTime Video Art and New Generation.

Dedicated to Venice "siren of sirens (mermaid of mermaids)", this exhibition reflects the polyphonic imagination of the artist Marco Agostinelli: experimental and visionary video artist, calligraphic designer and sculptor "thaumaturge of wood", but also the sounds of the "quintet" that composes the score.

Annamaria Orsini, the curator; Roberta Semeraro, the art historian; Luca Caldironi, the psychoanalyst-gallerist; Orseola Barozzi, the coordinator; Ettore Cammarata, the engineer-aesthete.

Giovanni Pelizzato, Venetian publisher-librarian, of historic lineage, decided to tell this cultural adventure with the publication of a "tolettino", almost a breviary of art.

For Joseph Beuys — artist and prophet, always.

PASSAGES - the re-enactment of a hero

29th October, Castello780

Before Birdman’s final flight toward Castel S. Angelo (RM), musician artist and composer Emanuel Pimenta homages Agostinelli’s sculpture with a special composition, “Olivestone”, which re-enact the mythical hero of the Easter Island in his passage from Castello925 to Castello780.

This collaboration reinforces the life-long friendship and mutual admiration of Agostinelli and Pimenta, who found each other thanks to Joseph Beuys.
